 Farah Elina Binti Mohamad Radzi

Farah Elina Mohamad Radzi, or Elina for short, was born at the Pusrawi Hospital in Kuala Lumpur on the 22nd of August 1995. Both her parents are currently retired.

Elina was disappointed by not getting straight A’s during SPM. However, she managed to use that disappointment to motivate her to pursue her dreams with a Diploma in Physiotherapy at UiTM, Puncak Alam. Following that, Elina studied for a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy at UiTM, hoping to further excel in her chosen field.

After being frustrated by not receiving the Vice Chancellor’s Award when she was completing her diploma, Elina vowed to work harder and strive for more while working towards her Bachelor’s degree. Her motto was “If other people can do it, I can do it too”. Elina believes that if others can achieve what they want, then there is no reason why she cannot achieve the same, regardless of how many times she fails.

As a result of all her hard work, Elina received the UiTM Best Student Award 2020 (Tun Fatimah Haji Hashim Gold medal), the Vice Chancellor Award, the Program’s Best Student Award, the Faculty’s Best Student Award, and the Perdana Award for the Faculty of Health and Sciences 2019.

While studying for both her Diploma and her Degree, Elina began to realise her passion for sharing knowledge with others within her chosen field of study. This passion served as inspiration for her to continue her studies with a Master’s Degree of Health Sciences (Physiotherapy) at UiTM Selangor, Puncak Alam. After her Master’s, Elina plans to study for her PhD. She hopes to become an educator and to continue sharing her knowledge in the future.

Besides being passionate about the things we do; Elina believes that perseverance is also the key to becoming a successful student. Students who can persevere understand that every failure is an opportunity to begin anew and strive for excellence.
